Mere Cui
Mere Cui is a multidisciplinary designer working with interaction, emerging technologies, and speculative systems. She is a fifth-year student at The New School, double majoring in Design & Technology and Environmental Studies.

Mere's work combines research, computation, and world-building. She creates interfaces, installations, and institutional fictions that work with environmental systems, data infrastructures, and the ways technology shapes experience. Many of her projects draw from field research, including marine species migration datasets, interviews, and environmental observation. She often reworks these materials through interactive or speculative formats.

She is interested in design as a tool for making hidden structures legible and for imagining alternate systems of sense-making and existence.
